We were given a bottle Diemerdal Vintage 1981 (my birth date) by a friend and was wondering when the best time would be to open it. Unless the there's no point in opening it at all?

Hi Janine My suggestion is that you phone Diemersdal and ask them - they know their wines better than anyone and will be able to give you the best advice (they'll probably also want to come and enjoy the wine with you!).
