De Grendel Op Die Berg Pinot noir 2017
Fruit yield vineyard experiment done. Crushed. Four days cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation with punch-down, pressed and transferred to second fill barrels. Malolactic fermentation in barrels, 12 months’ wood maturation.
Tasting Notes: A bouquet of floral perfume and ripe maraschino cherries is followed by elegant sweet liquorice spice on the palate. Oak with a well-rounded, rich flavour and lengthy finish.
