Hartenberg CWG Auction Shiraz 2011
80% new wood, all French. 18 months in barrel. The wine is a blend of one barrel of Gravel Hill and two barrels of Stork Shiraz. Tasting notes: Deep black-red in colour. Savoury, perfumed, floral notes with some pepper on the bouquet. Sumptuous entry on the palate, rich opulent fruit and a lingering tail, showing fine-grained, sweet, dry tannins.
