Join us for an evening of great wine, good food, and even better company at the 2026 CWG Bottle Share Dinner, held after the Cape Winemakers Guild Auction on Friday, 2 October 2026.
Set against the backdrop of one of Cape Town’s favourite wine-forward restaurants, this is an evening designed around the pleasure of sharing. Each guest is invited to bring one bottle of wine — something rare, something cherished, or something you’ve simply been waiting for the right moment to open. Settle in at communal tables across Tannin’s top floors, exclusively reserved for our guests, and let the wines lead the conversation.
On arrival, Tannin’s bar — one of Cape Town’s best — will be open and ready, so feel free to kick off your evening with a proper pre-drink or a perfectly mixed cocktail before you settle in.
The kitchen will be doing what Tannin does best: a generous, beautifully composed 3-course sharing menu of small plates, designed to keep the table full and the conversation flowing.
Please note that the bar and any drinks beyond the bottle of wine you bring are for guests’ own account.
Street parking is available; however, we encourage guests to make use of Uber.
