Cape Winemakers Guild

Bouchard Finlayson Pinot Noir 2019

100% Pinot Noir

The majority of grapes supplied for this cuvée are from the oldest vines on the property, with the average vine age exceeding 22 years. Fermented for 21 days with 30% whole-bunch complement. Matured for fifteen months in new French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Fresh cranberry and juicy plum aromas weave through savoury exotic spices. Powered by sleek and well-defined tannins, the wine glides elegantly across the length of the palate.

Ready for drinking now but will continue to develop with time.

Winemaker: Peter Finlayson
