David & Nadia Veiling Chenin Blanc 2021

100% Chenin Blanc

The grapes were hand-picked during multiple pickings from three Old Vine Project certified Single Vineyards dating back to 1968 from iron-rich clay on limestone, weathered granite and schist soils. The grapes were chilled before being hand-sorted, whole bunch pressed and naturally fermented in old French oak barrels for 11 months on its lees. Made as naturally and as stable as possible. 100% malolactic fermentation and no fining.

Tasting Notes: Focused on tension, purity, tightness, concentration and freshness with salinity as core.

Drink in 3 – 5 years’ time. Should mature well for 15 years.
