Sourced from 41-year-old bush vines on the Bottelary Hills, this single-block Chenin thrives on deep gravelly (koffieklip) soils enriched with 25% clay. Fermented naturally without added yeast, it matured for 10 months in two 225 litre old French oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered, the wine retains its purest expression
Tasting Notes: The nose offers nutty aromas intertwined with dried peach, ginger, lemon, and subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, mineral intensity is prominent, complemented by ripe stone fruit, leading to a long, nutty finish.
Ready for drinking now to 2035.
