Hartenberg Wine Estate CWG Auction Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine of Origin Western Cape

Hartenberg Cabernet Sauvignon has been bottled since the 1968 vintage. This exclusive wine is selected from the estate’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard and is crafted in limited quantities, with only three barrels made and sold over a single weekend. With the potential to mature beautifully for up to 25 years from vintage, it exemplifies exceptional quality. Notably, the 2005 vintage earned acclaim as the IWSC Best International Cabernet, receiving the prestigious Warren Winiarski Trophy.

Tasting Notes: Intricate notes of tobacco, cedar and vanilla impart sophistication. Dried spice and cloves add herbal complexity. Rich fruits offer a luscious richness balanced by velvet-smooth, seamless tannins.

Ready for drinking from vintage date, 5-25 years.
